Today is wednesday, we're half way through the week. Still a bit far from the weekend, but how about a nice tart recipe to sweeten up our day? Check it out!
500 g unpeeled nectarines, sliced
450 g puff pastry cut into 12 cm squares (I used ready)
3 tbsp brown sugar
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Icing sugar for dusting
1 egg yolk for brushing
Preheat oven to 350º F.
Mix sugar and lemon juice, and reserve.
Cut square of dough place it over your BakeitFun Silicone Baking Mat and put some nectarine slices on center of each square, leaving a higher border.
Once you have made the margins higher, sprinkle the sugar mixture with lemon juice.
Brush the edges with beaten egg yolk.
Bake for about 30 minutes or until the dough is golden brown.
Take out of the oven and serve super hot, you could even serve with some vanilla ice cream, or whipped cream. :)

TIP: You could vary the fruit by replacing with peach, apricot, pineapple or any seasonal fruit of your preference.
